Role Summary
Join Texas Instruments' Career Accelerator Program (CAP) as a Design Verification Engineer. The role focuses on creating and executing verification plans, developing RTL/GLS testbenches and simulations, and working with design and system teams to achieve first-pass silicon success.
The CAP provides structured technical and professional training and on-the-job learning; the position includes exposure to digital and analog design through formal learning and project assignments.
Experience Level
Entry-level β new graduate program intended for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree. No specific prior professional experience required.
Responsibilities
Primary verification activities and team collaboration duties:
- Develop detailed verification plans in collaboration with design and system teams to ensure first-pass silicon success.
- Design and implement testbenches, tests, and simulations at RTL and GLS levels.
- Run coverage regressions and analyze results to meet defined coverage goals.
- Track and report verification status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Use regression tools and develop scripts to submit and manage regression cases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DV strategy, tools, methods, and flows.
- Participate in cross-functional learning and rotations that expose the engineer to digital and analog design.

Must-have
- Fundamental understanding of digital design and RTL verification concepts and simulation flows.
- Ability to develop and run regressions and to write/maintain scripts for automation (e.g., Python, TCL or similar).
- Effective verbal and written communication and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Nice-to-have
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative, and time-management enabling on-time project delivery.
- Experience or coursework related to verification methodologies, coverage-driven verification, or hardware description languages.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is required.
