Job Title

Career Accelerator Program - Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

This is an entry-level position within Texas Instruments' Career Accelerator Program (CAP). The program provides structured technical and professional training during the first year and pairs on-the-job learning with mentorship.

The role focuses on analog integrated-circuit design: defining, designing, simulating, implementing and documenting analog, mixed-signal and RF ICs. You will work across front-end design tasks (schematics, simulation, post-layout verification) and gain exposure to characterization, test and failure analysis.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new graduate). Position is intended for recent graduates participating in the Career Accelerator Program; no specific years of professional experience required.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Define and architect analog/mixed-signal/RF circuits to meet product requirements.
  • Create schematics and perform behavioral and transistor-level simulations for functionality and parametric performance.
  • Support IC layout activities and run post-layout extracted simulations.
  • Participate in bench characterization, final test, and failure analysis.
  • Document design work and design decisions clearly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from experienced engineers and subject-matter experts.
  • Participate in assigned technical training and on-the-job development projects as part of CAP.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications and candidate attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Quick learner who can ramp on new systems and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and collaborate across functions.
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and drives for results; good time-management skills to meet project schedules.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0/4.0. (No mention of alternate experience-for-degree equivalency in the posting.)
