Camera IP Verification - Engineer
Role Summary
Perform IP-level verification of Qualcomm Spectra camera subsystem modules for next-generation products. The role focuses on module and subsystem verification, debugging, coverage closure, and collaborating with IP verification, design, and system leads to ensure feature and quality targets are met.
Experience Level
Entry-level (1+ years of relevant RTL verification experience).
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include ownership of IP verification activities and ensuring modules meet functional and coverage goals.
- Own end-to-end verification of camera IP modules at module and subsystem levels.
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification environments.
- Write assertions, create coverage models, and drive coverage closure.
- Perform RTL debug and root-cause analysis of functional failures.
- Automate verification tasks using scripting and integrate emulation/firmware flows when needed.
- Collaborate with design, IP verification, and system teams to define verification plans and deliverables.
- Document verification results and report progress to project leads.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and practical experience.
- Must have: 1+ years of RTL design verification using SystemVerilog/UVM and industry-standard simulators.
- Expertise in coverage closure and RTL debug techniques.
- Experience with assertions-based verification and DPI.
- Familiarity with bus protocols such as AHB and AXI and ARM-based system architecture.
- Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, or similar) for automation.
- Strong problem solving and verification aptitude.
- Nice to have: power-aware simulation, camera-specific verification experience, familiarity with firmware/emulation flows (e.g., Veloce), and GLS experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field is specified.
