Role Summary
Lead and grow a verification CAD team responsible for verification tooling, automation, and methodology that support formal and dynamic verification flows. Align CAD strategy with design and verification goals and collaborate with EDA partners to deliver scalable, efficient verification infrastructure.

Senior β expects significant leadership experience and deep CAD/verification expertise. The role description specifies 13+ years of CAD or verification engineering experience with leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include strategy, architecture, team leadership, and delivery of verification CAD infrastructure.
- Define and execute long-term roadmap for CAD verification infrastructure supporting formal and dynamic methodologies.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a team of CAD engineers focused on verification tooling, automation, and methodology.
- Partner with design and verification leadership to align CAD strategy with project and technology goals.
- Architect and deploy formal verification flows (property checking, equivalence checking, model checking).
- Evaluate and integrate formal tools into production environments and promote assertion-based verification.
- Oversee dynamic simulation infrastructure including UVM testbench support, regression automation, and coverage analysis.
- Optimize simulation performance and scalability across compute farms and cloud environments.
- Develop reusable scripts, APIs, and frameworks; ensure version control and CI/CD integration for CAD tools.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to influence tool features and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements

- Must-have: 13+ years of CAD or verification engineering experience with significant leadership experience.
- Must-have: Proven track record deploying formal and dynamic verification methodologies at scale.
- Must-have: Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Tcl) and experience integrating CAD tools into flows.
- Must-have: Deep knowledge of UVM, SystemVerilog assertions, and verification planning.
- Must-have: Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with AI/ML applications in verification and debug.
- Nice-to-have: Experience managing global, multi-site teams and verification initiatives.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field plus 8+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience; OR Master's degree in those fields plus 7+ years; OR PhD in those fields plus 6+ years of hardware engineering or related work experience.
