CAD-Synthesis Engineer
Role Summary
The CAD-Synthesis Engineer develops and deploys scalable synthesis methodologies, sequences, and automation to optimize Arm-based SoC implementation. The role sits in the Chip Methodology & Automation team and works across IP, architecture, and product engineering to deliver production-ready flows that improve quality, efficiency, and time to market.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and delivering synthesis methodologies and supporting front-end teams in their use:
- Develop and implement methodologies and automation for low-power synthesis and DFT insertion.
- Improve, deploy, and maintain the synthesis workflow and tools (SIMPL or comparable tools).
- Add features and integration hooks to the synthesis flow and enable front-end teams to run and analyze results.
- Troubleshoot PPA bottlenecks and recommend power-user features to improve quality.
- Assist front-end teams with limited synthesis exposure to resolve issues and validate flows.
- Work with advanced process nodes to achieve target PPA across multiple technodes.
- Ensure successful deployment and scaling of methodologies to production teams.
