Role Summary

Architect and deliver AI-driven CAD infrastructure for Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) IP development. You will design multi-agent workflows and orchestration layers that integrate LLMs, autonomous agents, and EDA toolchains to accelerate IP design, verification, and lifecycle analytics.

Join the SLM IP Development team in Bangalore and collaborate with IP designers, CAD engineers, and global AI platform teams to prototype, validate, and scale production-grade AI-CAD integrations.

Experience Level

Level: Senior — guidance: 8+ years of hands-on experience in CAD flow or infrastructure development for silicon design environments.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include architecting, prototyping, and deploying AI-augmented CAD systems and workflows that meet production needs for IP development and verification.

  • Define architecture for AI-powered CAD infrastructure and multi-agent workflows across IP design and verification.
  • Integrate and operationalize a global Agentic AI platform into SLM IP development loops, connecting LLMs, agents, and EDA tools.
  • Design orchestration layers that automate verification loops, IP design tasks, and lifecycle analytics.
  • Prototype, test, and validate AI-CAD integrations in live development environments; iterate based on engineering feedback and measurable results.
  • Collaborate with IP design teams, CAD engineers, and AI platform teams to align architecture with deployment constraints and real-world workflows.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the IP lifecycle.
  • Drive technical strategy and roadmap for AI-augmented CAD systems within SLM and influence cross-organization architecture decisions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years developing and deploying CAD flows and infrastructure in silicon design environments.
  • Proven experience implementing production-grade agentic AI frameworks, LLM orchestration, or autonomous software agent systems.
  • Deep understanding of silicon design phases, especially IP development, verification, and lifecycle management workflows.
  • Strong software skills: mastery of Python and C++; proficiency with EDA scripting (Tcl, Perl, Shell).
  • Track record architecting scalable systems that bridge EDA toolchains and modern software platforms, with demonstrated deployments.
  • Ability to prototype rapidly, validate in real environments, and iterate based on measurable workflow improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills to translate design team needs into deployable solutions.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with Silicon Lifecycle Management concepts such as in-chip sensing, telemetry, and analytics.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, VLSI, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
