Job Title

Automotive SoC Verification Engineer (SystemVerilog/UVM)

Role Summary

Develop and maintain verification environments for automotive system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Work on SystemVerilog/UVM test development, regression execution, coverage closure, and collaborate with design, firmware, and validation teams to verify SoC functionality and quality.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Years of experience not specified in the source.

Responsibilities

Primary verification responsibilities for SoC and block-level IP in an automotive context.

  • Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and verification components.
  • Create and run directed and constrained-random tests; manage regression suites.
  • Analyze simulation results, debug failures, and drive issue resolution with designers.
  • Report and close functional coverage gaps; contribute to coverage-driven verification.
  • Contribute to formal property verification (FPV) strategies and integration where applicable.
  • Collaborate across hardware, firmware, and system teams to validate SoC integration and requirements.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and relevant experience, plus a short list of desirable skills.

  • Must-have: Practical experience with SystemVerilog and UVM for ASIC/SoC verification.
  • Must-have: Experience developing verification environments, writing tests, and running regressions for SoC or IP blocks.
  • Must-have: Strong debugging skills and experience analyzing simulation results and coverage data.
