Role Summary
The Associate Test Development Engineer provides test solutions to internal business units and supports Test Operations to optimize cost and test efficiency. The role develops test application hardware and software, troubleshoots ATE-related issues, and supports qualification and debugging of ATE libraries, tools, and drivers.
The engineer will work across tester platforms, resolve tester-level issues, and deliver technical training to ensure consistent adoption of test technologies.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE) test applications, including hardware and software components.
- Diagnose and resolve ATE-related hardware and software issues across tester platforms.
- Support qualification, debugging, and maintenance of ATE libraries, tools, and drivers.
- Provide test solutions to business units and collaborate with Test Operations to improve yield and reduce cost.
- Deliver technical training on roadmap technologies to enhance team capability and ensure consistent processes.
- Assist in tester-level troubleshooting and cross-team escalations.
Requirements
Must-have requirements and expectations:
- Experience developing and maintaining ATE test applications (hardware and software) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug ATE systems, libraries, tools, and drivers.
- Practical experience supporting test operations or manufacturing test environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to deliver technical training.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with multiple tester platforms and test automation frameworks.
