Job Title

Associate Engineer - Test Engineering

Role Summary

Support test process operations in a production module to achieve throughput, quality and yield targets. Work includes test equipment setup and operation, process control, data analysis, and coordination with specialists and suppliers.

Experience Level

Entry-level. Typical experience: 1–2 years in test engineering or wafer-fab production.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities involve operating and improving production test processes and equipment.

  • Perform 12-hour rotating shift duties to operate and support test processes.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for test process control and improvement.
  • Design, set up and operate test equipment and fixtures; create process job-files for production setup.
  • Analyze reports and charts to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with specialists and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety practices and custody of tools and equipment in the production area.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment and attend to test fixtures and equipment as required.

Requirements

Must-have skills, experience and conditions:

  • 1–2 years experience in test engineering or wafer-fab production.
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Education Requirements

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical diploma. Relevant education and/or equivalent practical experience accepted.
