Role Summary

Responsible for designing and maintaining test and equipment software, tester client applications, and tester operations in a manufacturing/test environment. The role focuses on equipment automation, integration, networking, data integrity and security, and tester controller/server management.

Works on production test systems and supports equipment qualification, software releases, and operational troubleshooting; may require occasional travel.

Experience Level

Entry-level (new graduate / early career).

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

• Design, develop, and maintain test/equipment automation software and tester client applications.
• Implement equipment integration, networking, and automation workflows.
• Manage tester controllers and identified manufacturing/equipment servers; ensure hardware compatibility.
• Perform equipment qualification according to procedures and specifications.
• Maintain data integrity and security for test systems.
• Manage tester software change, release processes, and configuration control.
• Support tester operations and resolve software/hardware issues in production.

Requirements

Minimum expectations and relevant skills:

• Practical experience with test automation, equipment/software integration, or related engineering projects.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and server management.
• Experience or aptitude for software change/release management and configuration control.
• Understanding of data integrity and security practices for operational test systems.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and perform equipment qualification.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for work-related activities.
