Associate Engineer, Product Engineering (Mfg.)
Role Summary
Entry-level manufacturing/test engineering role supporting product engineering and production for semiconductor products at ADI's Cavite site. The role focuses on sustaining manufacturing operations, supporting new product releases, and improving yield, test time, and product performance.
Experience Level
Entry-level (Graduate). Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with minimal professional experience.
Responsibilities
Key day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Provide manufacturing support and sustaining activities to resolve production issues.
- Analyze data to monitor and improve product performance and yield.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities, including test time reductions.
- Support material disposition and manufacturing control hit validation processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support new product releases and meet release timelines.
- Assist failure analysis and troubleshooting of test and production issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and conditions:
- Effective ability to compile, organize, and present printed and electronic information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when given guidance.
- Willingness to work a shifting schedule to meet operational needs.
- Comfort working in a global, multi-functional team environment and strong interpersonal skills.
- Nice-to-have: experience with semiconductor test equipment or bench equipment; experience in yield or test optimization.
Education Requirements
Graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
