Job Title

Associate Engineer, Process Engineering (F7 Etch)

Role Summary

Support etch process module operations on a 12-hour rotating shift to maintain process integrity and production throughput. Work with process engineers and specialists to qualify and fine-tune processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements.

Focus on sustaining production, minimizing lot holds, monitoring process performance with SPC, and following SOPs and safety procedures.

Experience Level

Entry-level — approximately 0–2 years of experience; 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day responsibilities in the etch process module include:

  • Operate and support production on 12-hour rotating shifts to meet module objectives.
  • Assist engineers in process qualification, tuning, and implementation for production.
  • Troubleshoot process-related issues and minimize lot hold time.
  • Monitor process performance and drive improvements using SPC and statistical tools.
  • Coordinate with specialists to ensure SOP compliance and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in process improvement projects and internal audits (QA/QS9000).
  • Maintain housekeeping, tool custody, and safe work practices in the production area.

Requirements

Key requirements and preferences:

  • Must-have: Ability to perform 12-hour rotating shift work; strong team orientation; adherence to SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Preferred: ~1 year relevant experience in semiconductor process or manufacturing support.
  • Other: Employment is subject to background checks and medical screenings as required by local law.

Education Requirements

Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Microelectronics Engineering.
