Associate Digital Design Engineer
Role Summary
The Associate Digital Design Engineer contributes to the design, development, and verification of digital integrated circuits and subsystems as part of a cross-functional engineering team. The role supports specification, RTL implementation, simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and validation through silicon or system-level integration.
Experience Level
Entry-level β 0β2 years of relevant experience in digital design, verification, semiconductor development, or related engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include implementing and validating digital designs and collaborating across engineering functions to meet performance and quality goals.
- Contribute to design, implementation, and verification of digital circuits and subsystems.
- Translate product requirements into RTL and design specifications.
- Develop, simulate, and verify RTL using Verilog/SystemVerilog and industry-standard methodologies.
- Support synthesis, static timing analysis, timing closure, and performance optimization.
- Debug RTL and post-synthesis issues; analyze and resolve technical design challenges.
- Collaborate with architecture, verification, physical design, test applications, and product engineering teams.
- Document design specifications, verification plans, and technical results.
Requirements
Core skills and experience required or strongly preferred for effective performance in the role.
- Understanding of digital circuit design fundamentals and computer architecture concepts.
- RTL development experience using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
- Familiarity with digital design, simulation, verification, and implementation workflows and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication and ability to work in a team environment.
- Nice-to-have: exposure to verification methodologies, simulation environments, testbench development, synthesis and STA, digital interfaces/protocols, and scripting (Python, Perl, Tcl, Shell).
- May require up to 10% travel.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field β or equivalent academic, internship, or practical industry experience.
