Role Summary

Entry-level layout engineering role focused on learning layout fundamentals through formal and on-the-job training. The role supports the layout engineering team by assisting in basic integrated circuit layout design and verification under close supervision.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include supporting basic IC layout tasks, learning company processes and EDA tools, and following established procedures under regular review.

  • Work on basic layout problems with limited scope and complexity.
  • Assist in designing and implementing basic integrated circuit layouts.
  • Learn and apply company processes, practices, and detailed procedures.
  • Use EDA tools for IC layout and verification under supervision.
  • Support timing extraction and analysis tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team and participate in reviews.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
