Associate Application Engineer (Taipei)

Role Summary

Execute verification and testing of power ICs on evaluation boards (EVBs) and customer system boards, develop test procedures and documentation, and support lab operations and PCB/SMT coordination. Works closely with application engineers and test teams to produce reliable test data and maintain laboratory readiness.

Experience Level

Entry-level. No specific years of experience required; suitable for candidates early in their career.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Execute power IC verification and testing on EVBs and customer system boards and record test data.
• Define and document test procedures and guidelines.
• Rework EVBs and system boards to replace SMD/DIP components.
• Coordinate PCB SMT requests with Taiwan teams and vendors.
• Manage lab equipment, component inventory, and maintain a clean lab environment.
• Handle administrative tasks such as sample delivery, purchases, and routine paperwork.

Requirements

Must-have skills and attributes:

• Basic knowledge of electronic components.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic English communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Hands-on experience with PCB rework, soldering, or SMT processes.
• Experience testing power ICs or working with EVBs.
