Job Title

Associate Analog IC Design Engineer (New graduate)

Role Summary

Design, verify and support analog IC blocks and products such as op‑amps, interfaces and isolation chips. Work on schematic design, simulation, post‑layout verification and chip bring‑up within a cross‑functional ASIC design team based in Tianjin.

Experience Level

Entry-level (New graduate).

Responsibilities

The role focuses on analog block and product development from specification through silicon validation.

• Design, simulate and debug new analog circuits and support existing products.
• Prepare block-level design specifications and design guides based on chip-level requirements.
• Perform post-layout simulation and work with layout engineers to ensure correct implementation.
• Collaborate with validation, test (VE/ATE) and product engineers for chip bring-up and testing.
• Verify manufacturing processes/flows and support necessary process qualification work.
• Present simulation results and checklists during design reviews; drive schedule and quality for assigned projects.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and interpersonal abilities for success in the role.

• Strong fundamentals in analog IC design and analog circuit analysis (amplifiers, filters, ADC/DAC basics).
• Familiarity with analog IC design flow including schematic entry, simulation and verification.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot circuits using simulation and lab measurements.
• Experience collaborating with layout, validation and test teams; good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to produce design documentation and demonstrate design against specifications.

Nice-to-have:

• Previous lab experience with circuit testing and ATE/VE debugging.
• Experience with post-layout simulation and back-end implementation details.

Education Requirements

MSEE (Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline is specified.
