Job Title

Associate Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Entry-level engineering role on an analog/mixed-signal IC design team. The engineer will support design, simulation, testing, and documentation of analog circuits under mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Entry-level - 0–2 years of relevant experience (Graduate-level role).

Responsibilities

Work with experienced engineers to develop and validate analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

  • Assist in designing analog and mixed-signal IC blocks (sensor interfaces, data converters, filters, power distribution, multiplexers).
  • Perform simulations and basic validation to verify designs meet specifications.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and test reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and team meetings; support debugging and troubleshooting under supervision.
  • Engage in learning activities and apply standard design methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for work-related activities.

Requirements

Minimum technical skills and hands-on experience expected for the role.

  • Basic knowledge of analog circuit design and analysis (amplifiers, filters, data converters).
  • Foundational understanding of mixed-signal integration between analog and digital domains.
  • Basic proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers).
  • Basic understanding of CMOS technology principles for ICs.
  • Fundamental awareness of integrated circuit physical layout considerations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred. The role targets graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience; internship or project experience in analog/mixed-signal design is a plus.
