Assistant Applications Engineer (18-month temporary)
Role Summary
Support customer test requests by operating and validating semiconductor inspection equipment, collecting spectra and on-tool data, and developing recipes. Work as part of the applications team to prepare data summaries and proposals for customer engagements.

Responsibilities
Primary hands-on responsibilities for this temporary applications role.
- Collect on-tool data, spectra, logs, images and raw data for customer test requests and POA planning.
- Develop, set up and refine on-tool recipes.
- Validate and qualify tool performance.
- Check and sort recipes; summarize data to troubleshoot tool issues and prepare engagement proposals.
- Operate equipment in a cleanroom environment and follow required safety and process procedures.
- Work overnight shifts as required by production/testing schedule.

Education Requirements
