Assembly Process Manufacturing Engineer for Back End Fab
Role Summary
Engineer responsible for production technology (process, equipment, materials) for automotive SOC products and newly launched AI-related power module assembly lines at the Nakatsu back-end fab.
Primary mission: launch and qualify new assembly lines and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and yield for back-end semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include process launch, production support, and yield/quality improvement activities for assembly operations.
- Plan and execute launch of new assembly lines for AI-related power modules.
- Improve productivity, quality, and yield for automotive SOC assembly processes.
- Develop and optimize process steps, equipment settings, and material usage.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare process documentation, qualification reports, and production transfer materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, equipment, and engineering).
Requirements
Must-have technical experience and desirable additional skills.
- Must-have: Experience as a semiconductor back-end process engineer.
- Must-have: Practical engineering experience in package sealing, stamping, or PKG dicing.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of the entire semiconductor assembly process.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with image-processing inspection technology.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of statistics and quality control methods.
- Nice-to-have: Presentation and cross-functional communication skills.
