Role Summary
Responsible for monitoring and improving supplier assembly quality to ensure reliable product delivery, timely corrective action, and continuous process improvement. Works with suppliers, failure analysis (FA) engineers and cross-functional teams to maintain assembly technology, quality, delivery and cost targets.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include oversight of supplier assembly performance, root-cause investigation, and process qualification.
- Investigate assembly quality issues, determine root causes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and promptly to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and quarterly performance reviews; discuss technical and quality issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze assembly yield, defect modes, and SPC data weekly; review assembly WIP daily to support cycle-time reduction and on-time delivery.
- Perform risk assessments and disposition for incoming wafer issues at suppliers and for on-hold lots with assembly-related problems.
- Generate and evaluate supplier quality reports, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with FA engineers to identify assembly failures, confirm root causes, and implement corrective actions with assemblers.
- Support qualification of new suppliers, materials, package types, and assembly processes.
