ASIC Verification - Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Staff Engineer on the ASIC Digital Design team based in Bengaluru. Responsible for leading verification efforts for ASIC/SoC blocks, defining verification strategy, and driving issue closure across RTL, verification environments, and validation.
Works with design, firmware, and validation teams to deliver production-quality silicon and meet project timelines.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Define verification plans and strategies for ASIC/SoC blocks.
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and stimulus.
- Create and run directed, random, and constrained-random tests and coverage-driven verification.
- Write assertions and functional coverage; analyze simulation results to drive closure.
- Debug complex RTL and system-level issues; collaborate with RTL designers and validation teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process and methodology improvements.

Must-have:
- Experience in ASIC verification at a senior/staff level and ownership of verification tasks.
- Proficiency with SystemVerilog and UVM testbench development.
- Experience with assertion-based verification and functional coverage.
- Scripting skills for verification automation (Python, Perl, or Tcl).
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with EDA simulators (e.g., VCS) and formal or emulation tools.
- Experience with SoC-level verification, low-power verification, or hardware/software integration.
- Prior experience mentoring engineers and leading verification planning.
