Role Summary
Entry-level verification engineer on the Emulation team responsible for verifying GPU and SoC RTL using emulation and prototyping platforms. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure, validating micro-architecture and RTL correctness, and collaborating with architects, designers, and software teams.

Entry-level — new college graduate / recent graduate.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Verify ASIC design, architecture, golden models and micro-architecture of GPU and SoC units using emulation and prototyping platforms.
- Define verification scope, develop verification infrastructure, and validate RTL correctness.
- Develop tools to manage and improve verification processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and software teams to integrate verification efforts.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Hardware engineering background with knowledge of Digital Design, VLSI, and Computer Architecture.
- Exposure to simulation/verification tools (e.g., VCS or equivalent) and debug tools (e.g., Verdi, Debussy, GDB).
- Experience building testbench environments for unit-level verification.
- Expertise in SystemVerilog and Verilog.
- Proficiency in C++ and scripting with Perl or Python.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with PCIe and memory protocols.
Education Requirements
Recent graduate with a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
