Job Title

ASIC Verification Engineer – GPU

Role Summary

Work on verification of NVIDIA GPUs and related SoCs, ensuring design correctness across architecture, micro‑architecture and implementation. The role focuses on developing verification infrastructure, testbenches, and methodologies to validate complex hardware used in graphics, AI, and autonomous systems.

Experience Level

Early‑career / Entry (guidance: 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing verification activities for GPU/SoC designs and delivering reliable verification infrastructure and results.

  • Define verification scope and plans for blocks and subsystems.
  • Develop verification infrastructure and testbenches using advanced methodologies (e.g., UVM).
  • Create and run randomized stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based tests.
  • Verify design implementation against architecture and golden models.
  • Analyze failures, debug RTL and testbench issues, and drive root-cause fixes.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and cross-functional verification teams.
  • Maintain and improve verification flows and tooling.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and tools for successful execution of the role.

  • Proven experience in ASIC verification, preferably of complex SoCs/GPUs.
  • Strong experience with SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification languages.
  • Experience with UVM and methodologies for random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertions.
  • Proficiency with verification and debug tools (examples: VCS, Verdi, GDB).
  • Proficiency in C/C++ for testbench or model development.
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
