Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's GPU ASIC verification team to verify the design and implementation of high-performance processor elements and GPUs used across graphics, AI, and autonomous systems. The role focuses on designing and executing verification plans, building verification infrastructure, and ensuring correctness from unit to system level.
Experience Level
Entry-level / Early career β typically 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include developing verification environments and validating ASIC implementations.
- Verify GPU ASIC designs, architecture, golden models, and micro-architecture using advanced methodologies such as UVM.
- Define verification scope, develop verification infrastructure, and implement test plans for unit and system verification.
- Create randomized stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based tests to validate functionality.
- Build and maintain testbenches and automation for simulation and regression runs.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and pre/post-silicon teams to identify, debug, and resolve issues.
- Use simulation and debug tools to analyze failures and report actionable findings.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- 2+ years of relevant ASIC verification experience.
- Experience with random stimulus, functional coverage, and assertion-based verification methodologies.
- Experience with simulation and debug tools (VCS or equivalent; familiarity with Verdi, GDB is helpful).
- Experience creating testbench environments for unit and system-level verification.
- Strong SystemVerilog or similar hardware verification language proficiency.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for test infrastructure and golden models.
- Nice-to-have: prior processor verification experience (instruction pipelines, caches); strong debugging and analytical skills; effective communication and teamwork.
