ASIC Verification Engineer — ARM/IP Focus

Role Summary

Remote role to verify ARM-related IP within ASIC projects. The engineer will design and execute verification tests, maintain UVM test environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure IP quality and release readiness.

Experience Level

Mid-level (typical 3–7 years of ASIC verification experience).

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include design and execution of verification plans, test development, and cross-team collaboration.

• Develop C-based test cases and verification suites for ARM-related IP.
• Design, implement and maintain UVM test environments and testbenches.
• Plan, run and review verification activities across the project lifecycle, including regression testing.
• Debug and triage failures; work with RTL and firmware teams to root-cause issues.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and validation teams to close verification gaps.
• Document test plans, results, and verification status for stakeholders.

• Must-have: Proven ASIC verification experience with ARM-related IP; strong C programming skills for test case design; hands-on experience with UVM-based test environments; experience working remotely and collaborating across distributed teams.
• Must-have: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute verification plans, perform regression testing, and debug complex issues.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with SystemVerilog, scripting (Python, Tcl), common simulators and debug tools (e.g., VCS, Questa), and CI/regression infrastructure.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with security-related IPs or intrusion-prevention concepts.
