ASIC Verification Engineer - Acacia
Role Summary
Senior technical contributor responsible for verification of next-generation 100G–1.6T coherent optical communication ASICs within Cisco's Acacia business. The role focuses on developing verification strategies, building testbenches, leading verification projects, and mentoring engineers.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week at Cisco’s Maynard, MA office.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Lead verification activities for complex ASIC designs and provide technical leadership to the verification team.
- Lead and develop detailed and comprehensive verification test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain verification test benches and environments.
- Apply advanced and object-oriented verification methodologies to complex designs.
- Oversee and coordinate execution of test plans across the team.
- Review verification code, results, and coverage metrics and drive closure of verification gaps.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to teammates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt new verification tools, processes, and lab validation techniques.
- Operate independently to create verification solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements

Must-have: Strong experience with modern ASIC verification methodologies, tools, and scripting/programming languages.
