ASIC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Remote full-time role to develop and maintain UVM-based verification environments for RTL at block, unit, and SoC levels for high-performance computing and AI interconnect solutions.
Primary duties include writing and running verification tests, instrumenting test benches for coverage, and participating in post-silicon verification and debug.
Experience Level
Mid-level — requires 3+ years of professional verification experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement UVM environments to verify RTL at block, unit, and SoC levels.
- Write, execute, and maintain tests according to verification plans and requirements.
- Instrument test benches for functional and code coverage; collect, analyze, and report coverage results.
- Participate in post-silicon bring-up, verification, and debug activities.
- Collaborate with RTL designers and system engineers to define verification goals and debug failures.
- Automate regressions and verification flows; develop and maintain verification scripts and utilities.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in verification.
- 3+ years scripting experience (TCL, Python, Perl, or shell scripting).
- Experience validating complex SoCs with multiple clock and reset domains (3+ years).
- Experience in UVM-based testbench development.
- Experience instrumenting testbenches and analyzing functional and code coverage.
Education Requirements
B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
