ASIC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Join a VLSI development team to design, analyze, and verify ASIC/VLSI components and hardware systems that support edge-to-cloud solutions. The role operates in a hybrid setting requiring about two days per week in the Durham office and collaborates with electronic and VLSI engineers across project phases.
Experience Level
Mid-level β requires approximately 3+ years of relevant industry experience in VLSI verification, including SystemVerilog and UVM.
Responsibilities
The engineer will provide verification leadership across projects, coordinate with stakeholders, and support delivery of reliable VLSI prototypes and products.
- Provide technical verification expertise through all stages of VLSI design and development.
- Collaborate with management and internal partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Represent the verification team during phases of larger VLSI development projects.
- Work independently with engineers and development partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective VLSI prototypes and products.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff members.
