ASIC Verification Engineer
Role Summary
Perform ASIC/VLSI verification for enterprise hardware platforms as a member of the VLSI design and validation team. The role covers verification planning, implementation, debugging and collaboration with internal and outsourced development partners to deliver reliable production and prototype integrated circuits.
Experience Level

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include verification, collaboration, and technical leadership on VLSI projects.
- Develop and execute verification plans and testbenches for ASIC/VLSI components using SystemVerilog/UVM.
- Debug RTL, integrate verification environments, and analyze simulation results to resolve defects.
- Collaborate with design, validation, and cross-functional teams on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
- Participate in all phases of VLSI development for complex products, representing the verification perspective.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced engineers and contribute as an independent project team member.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- 3+ years of VLSI verification experience with SystemVerilog and UVM.
- Proven experience verifying and debugging digital logic, integrated circuits, and related architectures/algorithms.
- Proficiency with programming and scripting languages, hardware description languages, and EDA/FPGA tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience working with internal and external development partners and contributing to complex VLSI projects.
Nice-to-have:
- System-level validation experience and familiarity with computer architecture.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; coursework in VLSI design or VLSI concepts is relevant. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
