Role Summary
Join NVIDIA's physical design team in Austin to support netlist-focused signoff and implementation for high-performance CPUs, GPUs and SoCs. The role delivers RTL-to-tapeout equivalence and supports timing closure, ECOs, and reliability analyses.
Work closely with architects, RTL designers, and verification teams to ensure functional and timing correctness through tapeout.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include netlist-related physical design activities and verification tasks.
- Drive netlist-focused physical design for high-frequency and low-power CPUs, GPUs, and SoCs.
- Perform logic equivalence checking, asynchronous checking, and MTBF analysis.
- Support ECO generation and implementation to address design changes and timing issues.
- Collaborate with RTL, architecture, and verification teams to close timing and resolve functional mismatches.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation for EDA flows.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience.
- Knowledge of logic equivalence checking and formal verification from RTL to tapeout.
- Hands-on RTL/logic design experience focused on timing closure.
- Experience with clock-domain-crossing checking and MTBF analysis using EDA tools.
- Background in logic synthesis at block or full-chip level.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming: Perl, Tcl, Make, and Python.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, engineering-driven environment.
Education Requirements
Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
