ASIC / NoC Verification & Solutions Engineer

Role Summary

Join Qualcomm Interconnect Technology Center (QITC) Solutions deployment team to deploy and support NoC verification technology across Qualcomm SoCs (mobile, automotive, servers, IoT, connectivity). Provide verification support, analyze complex NoC simulations, debug testbenches and DUTs, and collaborate with SoC architecture, design, verification, emulation and post-silicon teams worldwide.

Work with verification environments and automation tools aligned with ASIC verification standards (UVM) and tools such as Verilog/SystemVerilog, Python and Synopsys/Mentor Graphics flows.

Experience Level

Mid-level — approximately 5 years of relevant verification or design experience.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide technical support and deployment of NoC verification solutions across Qualcomm SoCs.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Hardware, Software, Verification, Emulation and other teams to integrate and use NoC verification technology effectively.
  • Contribute to the definition and enhancement of the NoC verification environment and its SoC-specific configuration.
  • Analyze and debug complex NoC simulation and emulation scenarios; resolve testbench or DUT simulation issues.
  • Participate in defining new verification solutions and improvements for the NoC technology.
  • Develop technical documentation and deliver training sessions for global teams.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • About 5 years of verification and/or design experience in SoC/ASIC engineering development cycles.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills in simulation, emulation, or silicon bring-up environments.
  • Knowledge of interconnect protocols (AHB, AXI, ACE, ACE-Lite, CHI) and NoC concepts.
  • Understanding of SoC development flow: SoC architecture, RTL design and verification, performance and DDR memory channel, physical implementation, and silicon debug.
  • Familiarity with system-level features: memory-mapping, MMUs, QoS, cache infrastructure, and security schemes.
  • Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, UVM, Python, Linux, shell scripting, Git, and verification tools from Synopsys or Mentor Graphics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience designing or using UVM components, testbenches, or VIPs.
