ASIC/NoC Power and Solutions Senior/Staff Engineer
Role Summary
Join the QITC Solutions Deployment Team to deploy and support NoC interconnect and power technologies across Qualcomm SoCs (mobile, automotive, servers, IoT, connectivity).
You will work with SoC architects, hardware and software designers, verification and post-silicon teams to integrate, validate and troubleshoot NoC power architectures and units.
Experience Level
Senior / Staff level. Typical experience guidance: Master’s +3+ years, Bachelor’s +4+ years, or PhD +2+ years in ASIC/SoC design, verification, validation, integration or equivalent experience; preferred 3–5 years in SoC/ASIC work.
Responsibilities
The role focuses on deployment, support, validation and training for NoC power technologies.
- Collaborate with architecture, hardware, software, verification and emulation teams to integrate NoC technology in SoCs.
- Define interconnect requirements and configurations for target SoCs.
- Provide technical support and resolve NoC power micro-architecture and integration issues.
- Participate in defining and validating new or improved power architectures and NoC power units.
- Develop technical documentation and deliver training for internal teams worldwide.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for daily success in this role.
- Strong understanding of SoC development flow: SoC architecture, RTL design and verification, performance analysis, physical implementation and silicon debug.
- Knowledge of system-level features: memory-mapping, MMUs, QoS, cache infrastructure and security schemes.
- Experience with low-power techniques in SoCs and debugging power-related issues.
- Strong analytical skills for debug in simulation, emulation or silicon bring-up environments.
- Familiarity with interconnect protocols and NoC concepts (AHB/AXI/ACE/ACE-Lite/CHI).
- Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively across geographically distributed teams; excellent communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: SoC high-speed protocols and chiplet architectures; coherency protocols; functional safety / ASIL (ISO 26262) experience.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master’s or PhD in Microelectronics, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical field is stated.
