ASIC Methodology, Flow and Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Drive methodology, automation, and integration for NVIDIA High Speed IO ASIC and GPU projects. Work across global teams to own integration processes, build reusable infrastructure, and ensure designs are flow-ready across multiple silicon platforms.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Early career. The role expects approximately 2+ years of relevant ASIC integration or methodology experience.

Responsibilities

The engineer will own integration and delivery across projects and improve design flows and automation.

  • Own full-chip and block-level integration across SoC and GPU projects.
  • Stitch RTL units, manage hierarchy, and ensure connectivity.
  • Define and evolve internal design methodologies to improve scalability and turnaround time.
  • Build automation pipelines (Python/Perl) to streamline integration, debug, and delivery.
  • Develop modular, reusable systems for multiple architectures and technology nodes.
  • Collaborate with RTL, verification, physical design, and architecture teams for flow compatibility.
  • Drive full-chip debug of connectivity and functional issues across hierarchies.
  • Contribute to standards and mentor engineers on flow and integration practices.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes for effective execution.

  • 2+ years of experience in design integration and ASIC methodology work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IP development and build flows.
  • Experience building automation and integration pipelines (Python/Perl).
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills for full-chip issues.
  • Ability to collaborate across distributed, matrixed teams and influence design decisions.
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills; experience mentoring others.
  • Nice-to-have: exposure to AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) for productivity/automation.

Education Requirements

BS/B.Tech or MS/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
