Role Summary
Join the Silicon Solutions verification team to verify ASIC and FPGA designs for space and avionics products. The role executes verification from requirements capture through simulation, analysis and lab test in a Linux-based high-performance computing environment.
On-site work required; primary posting location listed as Poway, CA. Other locations referenced in the posting include Sunnyvale, CA; Denver or Highlands Ranch, CO; and a supplier site in Cambridge, MA. Work schedule is a full-time, on-site flexible 9x80.

Mid-level β typically requires about 5+ years of professional FPGA/ASIC verification experience.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include planning, executing, and documenting verification activities and coordinating with parallel verification teams.
- Develop and execute verification plans for ASIC and FPGA designs from requirements through test.
- Implement verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM in a Linux HPC environment.
- Create and run simulations, analyze results, and document verification outcomes.
- Perform lab bring-up and hardware test for FPGA/ASIC devices and reproduce/resolve issues found in verification.
- Support technical reviews and present verification status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Interface and coordinate with an independent verification team to track and close bugs.
- Work with low-SWaP, radiation-hardened, space-qualified devices and follow applicable quality/process requirements for space systems.
Requirements

Must-have: 5+ years professional FPGA verification experience; hands-on experience verifying FPGA and/or ASIC devices.

Must-have: Strong SystemVerilog and UVM expertise; HDL programming experience with VHDL and/or Verilog.

Must-have: Comfortable working in laboratory digital environments and Linux-based HPC verification flows.

Must-have: Ability to devise verification plans, document results, and present technical findings.

Must-have: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship or other clearance-eligible status may be required.

Nice-to-have: Knowledge of space-grade/qualified FPGAs and radiation-hardened device constraints.

Nice-to-have: Experience with Python or other scripting languages, AMD Versal or Microchip RTG4 FPGAs, MS Project, JIRA, and lab testing.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. The posting explicitly allows equivalent practical experience in lieu of degree.
