ASIC DV Engineer, Principal/Manager

Lead verification architecture and technical strategy for Ethernet switch ASICs within the ASICS Engineering team. Own verification from module through system level, coordinate across hardware, software and product teams, and mentor senior technical staff.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Drive verification architecture and technical strategy for Ethernet switch ASICs (module → subsystem → system).
- Define verification plans and methodologies using SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA, and coverage-driven techniques.
- Coordinate verification scope and schedules with HW, SW, and Product teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.
- Oversee emulation and FPGA-based validation efforts and integrate those results into verification signoff.
- Mentor senior technical leaders and influence organization-wide engineering direction.
- Lead debugging and system-level problem solving for performance, scaling, and interoperability issues.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Deep expertise in ASIC development and switch verification using SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA, and coverage-driven methodologies.
- Experience with emulation and FPGA validation flows.
- Strong knowledge of Ethernet switch architecture: forwarding pipelines (L2/L3, ACLs, tunneling), traffic management (QoS, scheduling, shaping), and high-performance packet processing and scaling.
- Proven leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams and align schedules.
- Strong debugging and system-level problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in Chinese and English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under tight schedules and in stressful situations.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with merchant networking silicon (examples: Broadcom, Marvell, Realtek, MediaTek).
