ASIC Digital Design Sr Manager
Role Summary
Lead verification and design teams in Noida to deliver functionally correct, high-performance ASICs. Own verification strategy, testbench architecture, and cross-functional alignment to ensure designs meet requirements before tapeout.
Experience Level
Senior — 15+ years of hands-on ASIC design and verification experience.
Responsibilities
You will manage a team and drive verification for multiple complex ASIC projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor a team of design and verification engineers, managing performance and development.
- Define verification strategy and testbench architecture for high-speed protocol and complex digital designs.
- Develop testplans and coverage models; drive coverage-driven verification efforts.
- Drive technical choices for verification flows (SystemVerilog, UVM, behavioral modeling) and automation.
- Collaborate with architects, RTL designers, and VIP teams to clarify design intent and resolve ambiguities.
- Identify design gaps, propose corrective actions, and validate fixes through regression and root-cause analysis.
- Reproduce and resolve customer-reported issues via detailed analysis from symptoms to root cause.
- Continuously improve verification methodologies, tooling, and team execution efficiency.

- Must-have: 15+ years of hands-on ASIC design and verification experience, particularly with high-speed protocols and complex digital systems.
- Must-have: Strong proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog for RTL design and verification.
- Must-have: Proven experience building UVM-based verification environments, including testbench architecture and coverage analysis.
- Must-have: Scripting skills for automation and flow development (BASH, TCSH, Perl, Python, or Tcl).
- Must-have: Track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams and delivering across multiple projects.
- Must-have: Experience working with ambiguous or incomplete specifications and driving projects to completion.
- Nice-to-have: Deep experience with coverage-driven verification tools, behavioral modeling, and VIP integration.
