ASIC Digital Design Intern
Role Summary
The ASIC Digital Design Intern will support the digital design team in Yerevan on RTL development, verification, and scripting tasks for ASIC projects. This is a full-time, in-office 12-month internship starting July 2026.
Work focuses on RTL implementation and verification, AMS verification support, and developing Linux shell scripts and small programs to automate flows and tests.
Experience Level
Entry-level internship intended for current students (undergraduate or graduate). Program length: 12 months.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include implementation, verification, and scripting support for digital ASIC flows.
- Develop and test RTL and support verification activities.
- Contribute to AMS verification efforts.
- Write and maintain Linux shell scripts and small programs to automate tasks.
- Assist with RTL-to-GDS integration and debug design issues.
- Document work and communicate results with the engineering team.
Requirements
Must-have skills and attributes for successful candidates.
- Basic understanding of Perl, Verilog, and regular expressions.
- Knowledge of digital design concepts and the RTL-to-GDS flow.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office team environment and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Education Requirements
Enrolled in a Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related undergraduate or graduate program.
