ASIC Design Verification Engineer II
Role Summary
The ASIC Design Verification Engineer II will develop and execute verification strategies for data-center ASIC blocks and SoCs. The role works within the Silicon One hardware team and collaborates with designers, verification engineers, hardware, and cross-functional teams to verify ASICs in simulation, emulation, and during bring-up.

Responsibilities
Deliver and maintain verification infrastructure, tests, and coverage to validate ASIC modules and top-level integration.
- Maintain and enhance existing design verification (DV) environments.
- Design and implement testbenches including scoreboards, agents, sequencers, and monitors.
- Write test plans, develop test cases, run regressions, and debug failures to drive module verification closure.
- Implement and review functional and code coverage to ensure verification completeness.
- Verify blocks, clusters, and top-level SoC behavior in simulation and emulation; support ASIC bring-up and cross-team integration.
Requirements
Core technical skills and tools required or strongly preferred.
- Must-have: Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
- Must-have: Scripting experience in Perl and/or Python.
- Must-have: Experience building and debugging DV testbenches and regressions.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with functional coverage, constrained-random verification, and verifying complex blocks/clusters and SoC top-levels.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with emulation platforms such as Veloce or HAPS.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
One of the following: a Master’s degree (completed within the past 3 years or expected to be completed within the next 12 months) with 0 years of work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with ~2 years of relevant work experience. Qualifying education and experience should be in ASIC engineering, verification, or a related technical field.
