Job Title

ASIC Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Join the ASICS Engineering team to support definition, modeling, design, verification, validation and documentation of IP blocks and SoCs for high-performance, low-power products. The role collaborates across functions to implement and verify ASIC designs.

Experience Level

Entry-level. Typically less than 2 years of professional experience. Preferred: ~6+ months exposure to architecture/design tools, scripting/programming, and design verification methods.

Responsibilities

Support ASIC IP/block development through hands-on verification and design tasks.

  • Apply ASIC knowledge to assist modeling, design (digital/analog), verification, validation, implementation, and documentation of IP or SoC blocks.
  • Help create architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations from system-level requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop implementation strategies that meet system and customer requirements.
  • Support evaluation of design flows from high-level design to synthesis, place-and-route, timing and power analysis, and verification; or support custom circuit/layout flows.
  • Use tools such as RTL-to-GDS flows and Cadence Virtuoso (or equivalent EDA tools) to execute design and verification tasks.
  • Produce technical documentation for EDA/IP/ASIC projects.

Requirements

Key capabilities and preferred skills. Degrees are listed separately under Education Requirements.

  • Must-have: Basic understanding of digital and/or analog ASIC design and verification concepts.
