ASIC Design Engineer

Role Summary

Work onsite at an HPE office in Bengaluru as part of a hardware engineering team delivering high-speed networking ASICs. The role focuses on micro-architecture, logic design, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve high throughput and low power.

Experience Level

Mid-level - 3+ years of relevant ASIC or related design experience.

Responsibilities

Key technical responsibilities include:

• Define and architect high-performance blocks for advanced networking ASICs.
• Perform micro-architecture and RTL/logic design to maximize throughput and minimize power.
• Collaborate with verification teams to develop test plans and debug test failures.
• Work with physical design teams to develop timing constraints, analyze timing violations, and implement timing fixes.
• Coordinate with system design teams across geographies to align ASIC block interfaces and requirements.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience; brief and factual.

• 3+ years of ASIC design experience or closely related experience.
• Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL.
• Experience with industry EDA tools (examples: Synopsys or Cadence).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
