Job Title

ASIC Design and STA Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for static timing analysis (STA) and timing convergence for high-speed networking ASICs (full-chip and chiplet) from early stages through signoff. Work includes top-level floorplanning, clock planning, timing integration of digital partitions and analog IP, and optimization of signoff CAD flows and methodologies.

Role is based in Bengaluru or Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work arrangement.

Experience Level

Mid-level β€” 3+ years of experience in physical design and STA.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Lead full-chip and chiplet STA convergence from early stages through signoff.
  • Participate in top-level floorplanning and clock planning.
  • Integrate timing for digital partitions and analog IPs; provide feedback to PD/RTL teams.
  • Define and implement constraints with logic design and DFT teams for multiple work modes, optimizing runtime and efficiency.
  • Optimize CAD signoff flows and STA methodologies for runtime and accuracy.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in physical design and STA.
  • Proven experience in RTL-to-GDS flow and STA design and convergence.
  • Experience with physical design EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence, etc.).
