Role Summary

Lead verification architect responsible for building and maintaining scalable SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and executing functional verification for complex SoCs and IP blocks. Work closely with design, architecture, and validation teams to ensure correct silicon delivery.

Scope includes protocol verification (AMBA), low-power/PMU scenarios, UPF-based checks, and driving coverage closure.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the role include planning and executing verification activities and collaborating across teams to resolve issues.

  • Develop and execute verification plans for SoC and IP designs.
  • Build and maintain scalable testbenches using SystemVerilog and UVM.
  • Perform functional verification of complex SoCs and subsystems.
  • Verify AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB) and other interconnects.
  • Verify power-management features (PMU, low-power scenarios) including UPF-based flows.
  • Debug simulation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes.
  • Collaborate with design, architecture, and validation teams to ensure quality and timing of silicon delivery.
  • Contribute to functional and code coverage closure.

Must-have

  • Strong background in functional verification.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
  • Knowledge of AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB).
  • Experience verifying power-management features and UPF-based verification.
  • Proven ability to debug simulations and identify root causes.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and communicate technical issues clearly.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with coverage-driven verification and coverage closure strategies.
  • Familiarity with commercial simulators, verification tools, and scripting for automation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with large SoC verification projects.
