Job Title

APTM NPI Integrator

Role Summary

Lead technology transfer, manufacturing readiness, quality improvement, and yield optimization for advanced packaging and technology development programs. Drive integration of new technologies into manufacturing from startup through high-volume production.

This role coordinates cross-functional activity between fabs and upstream/downstream customers, establishes operational strategies, and ensures product and process readiness. The role requires regular onsite presence and participates in a hybrid work model.

Experience Level

Entry-level / early-career (guidance: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience is required).

Responsibilities

Own coordination and execution of new product introduction (NPI) and process transfers across factories; ensure readiness and handoff to high-volume manufacturing.

  • Coordinate logistics for introducing new products into the factory and provide required process documentation to factory stakeholders.
  • Act as primary information interface between fab and upstream/downstream customers.
  • Track collateral items, manage wafer shipping coordination, and update product codes in internal systems.
  • Set up lot flows and kick off NPI checklists for each module; manage silicon through setup, power-on, engineering samples, and first production.
  • Drive closure of issues identified during NPI and implement improvements to NPI systems and business processes.
  • Monitor manufacturing readiness, quality, and yield metrics and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communicate status and risks to stakeholders and present technical and program updates.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, experience, and behavioral traits.

  • Minimum 2+ years applying engineering fundamentals in a manufacturing or fab environment.
  • Practical experience managing NPI builds and process transfers in a factory setting.
  • Strong understanding of product life cycle, fab processing, and post-fab activities.
  • Ability to drive capacity execution and follow manufacturing readiness milestones.
  • Proven problem tracking and closure skills across organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with data analysis to support yield and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred: experience in process integration, package design, or semiconductor foundry operations.

Education Requirements

Required: BS or Master's degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
