Apprentice - R&D (m/f/d)

Role Summary

Part-time apprenticeship supporting R&D test and data workflows in semiconductor development. The role focuses on electrical measurements, test automation, data evaluation and reporting within an R&D team.

Experience Level

Entry-level (apprenticeship); suitable for current students.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include:

• Create, automate and maintain test and laboratory databases.
• Perform electrical measurements on bipolar transistors at wafer level and on finished products.
• Evaluate trials, analyse experimental data and present results.
• Investigate and compare competitor products.

Requirements

Key requirements and employment conditions.

• Must: Fluent German, written and spoken.
• Must: Analytical thinking and good general technical understanding.
• Nice-to-have: Knowledge of semiconductor technology, electrical measurement techniques, and hardware automation.
• Nice-to-have: Programming skills for automation (Python, Java); experience with data analysis, SPICE and Power Apps.
• Employment terms: Temporary contract, part-time up to 18 hours per week.
• Compensation: €18.40 per hour.

Education Requirements

Student in Electrical Engineering or Physics; equivalent academic study in related technical fields acceptable.
