Role Summary
Member of the Applications Engineering team focused on driving adoption and successful customer deployments of Synopsys physical verification solutions. The role supports customers on advanced process designs, works with Sales and R&D, and delivers technical solutions, training, and tape-out support.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical account support, collaboration with R&D, and enabling customer success.
- Provide deep product expertise and hands-on technical support for top customers.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex physical verification issues on customer designs, including pre-tapeout escalations.
- Collaborate with R&D to define technical roadmaps, validate improvements, and implement product enhancements.
- Partner with Sales and customers to identify business challenges and deliver solutions that increase product utilization and retention.
- Deliver customer training, tape-out support, and account-level technical enablement.
- Conduct competitive evaluations and provide customer-driven feedback to product teams.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience for successful performance in this role.
- 5+ years of professional experience in physical verification, application engineering, or related EDA roles.
- Hands-on experience with physical verification tools such as ICV and Calibre.
- Experience with advanced technology nodes and signoff methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of physical design and signoff flows.
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; customer-service orientation.
- Ability to manage multiple customer engagements and coordinate with global teams across time zones.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree (BS/MS) in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics & Communication (ECE), Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE) or a related technical discipline. The posting specifies 5+ years of relevant experience in addition to the degree requirement.
