Responsibilities

The role includes field and lab work, technical customer interaction, and internal coordination. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support customers on overlay metrology using eBeam and/or optical metrology systems.
  • Lead technical projects from kickoff through execution and reporting.
  • Perform complex data and image analysis to interpret metrology results and diagnose process issues.
  • Develop and document test plans, run experiments, and produce technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to define requirements and close capability gaps.
  • Present results and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support customers.

Requirements

Core technical and interpersonal qualifications necessary to perform the job:

  • Expertise in overlay metrology (eBeam, optical metrology, or both).
  • Deep understanding of customer technologies, requirements, and metrology capability gaps.
  • Knowledge of optical CD, scatterometry, film metrology, and process characterization.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, plan experiments, and deliver periodic and final reports.
  • Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform complex data and image analysis using analytical tools.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
  • Preferred: experience with Python, MATLAB, JMP, SQL, or similar analytical tools.

Education Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
