Role Summary

Support product development and customer adoption for power ICs by debugging and enhancing ICs, developing reference circuits and evaluation hardware, and producing technical documentation and application notes. Work with cross-functional teams (TME/DE/PE) and provide direct application support to key customers and field application engineers.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include system verification, documentation, reference design development, and customer support.

• Execute IC roadtests and perform system-level verification.
• Participate in product development and coordinate IC feature/revision items with TME/DE/PE teams.
• Create product documentation and hardware/software deliverables: datasheets, evaluation boards, application notes, GUIs, and benchmark reports.
• Design and develop application reference circuits and review schematics/layouts.
• Provide application support to key customers and field application engineers.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and practical lab/simulation experience.

• Knowledge of power electronics: DC/DC converters, AC/DC converters, power devices, and magnetic components.
• Hands-on experience in power circuit design or modeling (DC/DC, AC/DC, inverters, or modern power topologies).
• Laboratory/experimental skills using oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, network analyzers, etc.
• Simulation experience with Simplis, PSpice, SPICE, PSim, or equivalent tools.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and evaluation materials.
• Working English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking.

Education Requirements

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or higher, with a major in power electronics, is required.
