Role Summary
Join the Analog Power Products organization in Dallas to provide system-level technical support and promote TI analog power products across industrial, automotive, consumer, and personal electronics markets.
You will work directly with customers to solve design challenges, develop reference designs and documentation, debug hardware, and influence product direction through cross-functional collaboration.
Experience Level
Entry-level β 1+ years of relevant experience (applications engineering, field applications engineering, or similar technical role).
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include customer engagement, technical enablement, and product advocacy.
- Engage with customers to gather system requirements and provide technical recommendations for TI analog power products.
- Develop and maintain reference designs, application notes, and design guides to accelerate customer adoption.
- Debug and characterize board- and system-level hardware to resolve customer design issues.
- Collaborate with design, systems, and product marketing teams to inform product roadmaps based on customer feedback.
- Evaluate competitive products and define differentiated technical positioning.
- Create and deliver demos, presentations, and training materials.
- Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements across different end-equipment markets.
Requirements
Must-have
- 1+ years of experience in applications engineering, field applications engineering, or a related technical role.
Nice-to-have
- Hands-on experience with analog power products (DC/DC converters, LDOs, battery management, power monitoring ICs).
- Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal analyzers) and board-level debugging.
- Programming skills for test automation or modeling (C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
- Experience with PCB design and board bring-up.
- Familiarity with end-equipment markets such as automotive, industrial, or data center power.
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to build customer relationships and work cross-functionally with design, test, and marketing teams.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive results with minimal direction.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Degree Level: Bachelor's Degree as stated in the posting).
