Role Summary

The Applications Engineer will act as a technical liaison to customers, supporting design and application of Monolithic Power Systems products. The role focuses on troubleshooting system-level issues, evaluating customer requirements, and proposing technical solutions.

Experience Level

Entry-level / New graduate (suitable for recent graduates; 0–2 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include direct customer support, system troubleshooting, and technical representation of MPS.

• Provide field support to customers for product selection and system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system- and application-level issues.
• Evaluate customer requirements and prepare technical proposals and recommendations.
• Analyze schematics and PCB layouts to support application success.
• Use laboratory equipment to test and characterize analog circuits and power systems.
• Participate in seminars, conferences, and customer meetings to represent MPS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, sales, and manufacturing.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional traits; fresh graduates are welcome.

• Practical ability to read and analyze schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience using laboratory equipment to test and debug analog circuits.
• Strong problem-solving skills for system-level troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills for customer interactions.
• Nice-to-have: hands-on experience with analog power management, DC-DC converter design, and passive component selection; familiarity with PCB design tools.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BS/BE) in Electrical Engineering or higher. Fresh graduates are explicitly welcome; advanced degrees (MS) are acceptable.
