Role Summary
Join the Surfscan applications team to characterize and demonstrate wafer inspection products and develop inspection-based solutions that address semiconductor manufacturing yield issues. The role works with product engineering, marketing and sales to drive product adoption and support customer evaluations.

Responsibilities
The role focuses on product characterization, customer demonstrations, and translating inspection capability into manufacturing value.
- Characterize next-generation wafer inspection products and features.
- Develop and review feature requirements and design test plans.
- Collect data, perform analysis, and publish application notes and best-known methods.
- Conduct tool demonstrations, beta tests, and head-to-head evaluations to showcase performance and build use cases.
- Investigate manufacturing yield issues and develop inspection solutions to monitor them.
- Prepare product value statements and share use cases with engineering, marketing and sales teams.
Requirements

Education Requirements
PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (as stated under Minimum Qualifications).
